Thank you for visiting today. Is your Church doing things that are not found, or are forbidden, in the Bible?
Do not be troubled or dismayed; this is that which God has planned and foretold. When you see these things happen, it is time to leave and NOT seek another, "better Church". If possible,
find some believers and fellowship with them, and focus on the task that was originally given to the Churches: declaring the Gospel.

In the Bible, God tells us that there will come a time when the authorities in the churches will no longer look to His rule. This is the time when God allows Satan to sit in the place of rulership and rule, as if he were God:
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The believers, those that God has saved, are forced out of the Churches by this change of rulership. What are we to do? We are to continue declaring the Gospel of Jesus Christ outside the Churches (see verse 13 below):

Luke 21:5 ¶ And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.19 In your patience possess ye your souls.20 ¶ And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

the way home to god

The Way Home
Here are the key elements by which we become reconciled to the Father. Each is vitally important. Any, if absent, could keep our new relationship from being complete. Our condition: First, we must understand that we are separated from God. The chasm dividing us is both wide and deep. We inherited a fatal defect at birth. As a result, we have lived our lives independently from him. The Bible emphasizes this stark reality: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). If we can’t come to grips with the fact that sin separates us from God, we’ll never come home spiritually, for there is no need for a savior. God’s remedy: Second, we need to be very clear in understanding who Jesus is and what he has done for us, in order that we might confidently place our faith in him. He bridged the chasm separating us from God. In the apostle John’s words: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).Jesus was not just a good man, a great teacher, an inspired prophet. He came to earth as the Son of God. He was born to a virgin. He led a sinless life. He died. He was buried. He rose again on the third day. He ascended into heaven where he became both Lord and Christ. Jesus’ death and resurrection on our behalf satisfied God’s requirement – complete provision for our sin. This Jesus, and he alone, is qualified to be the remedy for my sin and yours. Our response – to repent and believe.Personal repentance is vital in the transformation process. Repentance literally means “a change of mind.” It is to say to the Father, “I want to turn toward you and away from the life I’ve lived independently from you. I am sorry for who I’ve been and what I have done and I want to permanently change. I receive your forgiveness for my sins.”Many at this point experience a remarkable “washing” from a lifetime’s accumulation of all that can degrade a person’s soul and spirit. Whether or not we sense God’s forgiveness, if we repent, we can be very certain that we’re forgiven. Our confidence is based on God’s promise to us, not how we feel. We come into a personal relationship with the Lord when we make life’s greatest decision – the turning point referred to earlier. It is to believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the One who died for our sins, who was buried and was raised from the dead – and to receive him as our Savior and Lord. When we believe in this way, we become God’s children. This is emphatically promised in John’s gospel: “To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12).Would you like to receive Jesus Christ as your savior? If you would, you can pray a prayer like this:“Jesus, I need you. I repent for the life I’ve lived apart from you. Thank you for dying on the cross to take the penalty for my sins. I believe you are God’s Son and I now receive you as my Savior and Lord. I commit my life to follow you.”Did you pray this prayer?

I'VE GOT A SECRETby Jim Corner
I must confess that I really don't have a secret; I was just hoping that the title would catch your attention. What I do have is some really great news! GOD LOVES YOU!
I want you to think about that for a minute. The very one who created the universe, who is eternal, who has all power loves you! In our lives we have many people who love us: our parents, children and friends. I am thankful that I have a family and many friends who love me, but I am ECSTATIC that God loves me.
How can we know that God loves us? Well, I could quote many scriptures but I prefer to paint a picture for you. In this picture we see the Son of God leave Heaven to come to the earth. He was born in poverty and though a king, was treated like the lowliest of people. He went about doing good, healing people, loving people and showing kindness in so many different ways. The picture becomes ugly, however, as we see man take him and severely flog Him. We see man repeatedly punch Him in the face. We see man place a crown of thorns on His head. We see man strike Him on the head with a stick. We see man spit in His face. We see man mock Him. Finally, we see man lay Him on a cross and drive nails into His hands and feet. We then listen as He utters these words, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do."
Why did Jesus suffer to this degree? The answer is because He loves YOU! That's right, the Son of God loves you! He died because He wants you to spend eternity in Heaven with Him. Would you like to learn about the love of God for you? World Bible School is a ministry of the Lord's Church in which you will have a teacher who will send you Bible lessons. You will study of the love that the Lord has for you and will discover what you must do to inherit eternal life. We look forward to assisting you in discovering the love that God has for you.
